About Us
Part of our mission at Yellville Music on the Square is to give back to the community. We see no better way to accomplish that than by supporting an organization that focuses on teaching music to children. We are pleased to announce our partnership with SkyMeadow Fine Arts.

Sweet 16!

Welcome Back Friends!
As we begin preparing for this summers concert series we can't help but think back to all the great Ozark singers and musicians that have lit up our stage and the tremendous support we have received from our sponsors and fans. We feel honored that year after year the bands get better, the sponsors dig deeper and the crowd gets bigger. From all of us on the board, we Thank You and look forward to seeing you as we start out 16th summer on the square!

In Cahoots
Saturday, May 28th, at 7:00 p.m.
LaYellville Music on the Square, Arkansas’s only FREE summer-long concert series, was started in 2001. Many things happened that year, the most unforgettable being the attack of the Pentagon and the World Trade Centers. We all remember where we were, what we were doing, and how this event shocked and shaped our nation. The thing I remember is how it brought people from all over the world to together to help those in New York City. Complete strangers worked side by side to carry out rescue efforts in hopes of saving other complete strangers. The world became a community. As we celebrate our 16th year I am sure that our community is stronger now than ever. How do I know? On any given Saturday night at YMOTS you can feel it. The warmth and welcoming feeling we share with friends, family and you guessed it, complete strangers. It only takes a second to realize just how connected we all are sitting there together listening to the music coming from the stage. I have felt overwhelming sensations of joy, peace and happiness sharing this experience with friends, both old and new. To me this this is what community is all about. It’s not about being from the same neighborhood, county, state or country. It’s what’s within us, embedded in our spirit. We invite you this Saturday to come see for yourself as In Cahoots takes the stage. In Cahoots has graced our stage many times and for good reason. They can jam! The band consists of Jerry Lee on the fiddle, Jerry "Scotcho" Scott plays the bass, Jeff Henthorne and Bob Younger both play the guitar and Tom Batson on drums. They all share the microphone. They now cover just about every venue there’s been through the years, and just about everything the band does swings on some level.
This week’s show is sponsored by the Marion County Library. With new books, programs and events coming in all the time the MC Library is one place you’ll want to check out. Stop by and let them know you appreciate their support of YMOTS. Grab your favorite lawn chair. We hope to see you there this Saturday night. Keep in mind the Yellville Farmers Market starts at 5:30 pm and the live music starts at 7:00 pm. For more info please call Ron Shire at (870) 404-6347.
